Students in culture classes are not only learning in
classrooms, as well they have opportunities to
perform in local
community events year around including in
Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival,
Taste of Colorado,
and nursing homes etc.

Organizer: Colorado Bone Marrow Program
The Cause: Each year thousands of people are diagnosed with a blood-related disease, including leukemia and aplastic anemia. A marrow transplant is often their only chance of survival. It is through the generosity of volunteers,
the Colorado Marrow Program offers hope to these patients and their families.
Come to join the recruitment event to find more
information and what you can help. It is a very simple process to register.
The program is looking for healthy individuals between the ages of 18-60.

Help
rebuild Lao Temple

On December 5th, 2011, the Lao Buddhist Temple of Colorado in Westminster burned down. A pillar of hope and strength for the Laotian community was destroyed in a matter of hours. All that remained were a few pieces of darkened debris and remnants of memories that had filed the temple with meaning and heart.
The Lao community has a very small population in Colorado, only 2,500 in the state, including children. It will be very difficult for the community to stand up again without much help from outside.
An event is organized on Feb 18 to raise fund for rebuilding the Lao Buddhist Temple.
